Weston’s second stage at the Rod and Gun Club offers gems that shine in the small intimate space. When that space is transformed into an Irish pub where Cass Morgan takes the audience on a magical journey into her past, one is transported along with her. Through story and songs, most of which she has written, Morgan relates her travels in Ireland to trace the history of her family.
When we interviewed the director Steve Stettler and he showed us how the theatre had been transformed into a pub, we were excited to see The Road to Where. The night we went, every seat was taken. For an hour and twenty minutes we all were treated to a special evening in theatre. Backed up by three young and talented musicians, Cass Morgan shared her life with us. A host of characters came alive as she portrayed them.
