The American musical is one of the loveliest contributions to the world’s culture that the United States has created. It is vibrant and various in its many forms, offering melodic delights to audiences over the years. One of the most outstanding of these creations is Guys and Dolls. Hearing it again freshly, as it is offered at the Weston Playhouse, reminds one of how fortunate we are to have theatres that keep these musicals available to us. Not only did Bob and I have the pleasure of enjoying this production, but we were fortunate to interview its two female leads, Andrea Prestinario and Marissa McGowan. Their duet Marry the Man Today is one of the highlights of this outstanding production.
