Watson: The Last Great Tale of the Legendary Sherlock Holmes

As a Sherlockian I was thrilled when I learned that The Dorset Players were performing Watson: The Last Great Tale of the Legendary Sherlock Holmes. I didn’t know anything about the play, but that makes little difference to devotees of the great detective. We will travel far and wide to see plays about the Master. Bob and I were fortunate to have three of the performers on our program to talk about the production. Mike McCord,  Jonathan White and Caroline Hogan told us about their parts in the play as well as sharing their experiences as members of The Dorset Players.

I also had the pleasure of lending one of my deerstalkers to the production. (For those few of you who don’t know, a deerstalker is a type of hat which Sidney Paget showed Holmes wearing in some of his illustrations.)  Luckily, I also found a preview video that the players made about the play.

The performances of the play are

March 6-7 & 13-14, 2015 – 7:30 pm

March 8 & 15, 2015 – 2 pm

Preview video
